Joining us today all the way from Texas is Pedro and Alex! These two are former podcasters from the show Topics and Tacos and we thought it would be fitting that half way through the season we’d do our first collaboration! As you can tell by the title, we’re discussing texting, and specifically texting etiquette. We have a lot of varying opinions of what is proper or improper when it comes to texting and everyone, except myself, Mia, agree that it is straight up wrong to leave someone on read! But let’s go into reasons we’re for or against some things and we’ll let you decide, is it jerk or justified?
Leaving people on read..
Jerk- Pedro, Alex, Myzsa
Jerk: What is so difficult about responding, even if it’s a quick message, or just saying you’re busy and you’ll respond later. It is rude and hurtful to leave someone without messaging back, it shows that their message is not important to you.
Justified- Maria
Justified: Not responding is just another way to end the conversation, sometimes it’s just easier to not respond.
Long paragraphs…
Jerk- Pedro, Alex, Myzsa
Jerk: Long paragraphs are never good and if it’s that serious, call instead!!
Justified- Maria
Justified: Sometimes it’s easier to put everything down in a message, that way you can write it and review it and say everything you need to say at once. Also long messages do not always have to be negative. Sometimes after a great day with someone you want to send a long message about how much you love and appreciate them!
Hating messaging people with Samsung phones…
Jerk- Alex, Maria
Jerk: It’s not necessarily something to hate, while there are many cons to messaging Samsung, it’s not that serious.
Justified- Pedro, Myzsa
Justified: This is the absolute worst! You can’t do reactions to their messages with out it being like “Myzsa emphasized_____”. Also it ruins group chats because the messages are green, you can’t respond to specific messages, and you cannot change group chat names!
Sending messages, memes, video, etc late at night…
Jerk- None
Justified- Pedro, Alex, Myzsa, Maria
Justified: If we are friends I should be able to message you at any time of the day. I, Maria, personally go to bed early but I leave my phone on do not disturb so if those messages are sent it won’t wake me and I’ll respond later. Myzsa and Pedro however are usually the ones sending the pictures and videos late at night, it got to the point where they both were saving the videos or setting alarms to remind them to send the message are a more convenient time.
Being on social media after saying good night to someone…
Jerk- None
Justified- Pedro, Alex, Myzsa, Maria
Justified: Myzsa usually will say “I’m going to bed, aka Im going to stay up and watch Tik Tok or YouTube and send you videos.” This is one of those ones were its justified and there doesn’t really need to be a reason to explain it, we all have a mutual understanding that when you say goodnight its to that one person and doesn’t necessarily mean your night is over.
Rockin’ 20s
You get it?? It’s a play on words because we're in our 20s, we're in Rochester, we’re rockin it, and we're living in the 20s! It just makes sense!! Please enjoy our conversation about what it is like to be in our early-mid twenties, what we’ve learned, the expectations held and the reality of the twenties, and how we’ve grown throughout the years.
Your twenties are supposed to be your prime! They are full of many joys and pains, love and heartbreaks, travel and exploring, and they help you balance having fun with being a responsible young adult. The further you get into the twenties the better you become at figuring out this thing we call life. For us we lived our twenties so differently, and this is just comparing the early twenties that I, Mia, am in when My was going through her early twenties. My is quick to tell you how high school did not prepare her for the real world, there are no classes that really teach you about finances and being responsible. While I think school was very useful and I did take a 6 month class that kind of taught that I have to slightly agree with her, everything I learned was from my very responsible parents. They taught me how to work hard, to save my money, how to open up a credit card, and how to pay my bills on time. They always supported me but they did have the rule of me having to pay my own way for the things I wanted to do, including school. Fortunately for My and I we both had the option of going to a trade school our junior and/ or senior year of school. You’d spend a half day there and at the end of the year or two get certified in the trade of your choice. By the age of 16 I was a certified dental assistant and started working at a dental office after school. My however went for nursing assistant and later went to college then decided to go back to that same trade school later for dental assisting which was the best decision! We both thankfully have a lot of freedoms with our jobs and really enjoy it. My and I took different routes but ended up in the same place. And that’s the thing about your twenties, they’re all about figuring things out and finding your way! For me I had a strict and rigid five year plan and honestly I am not too far off, I’m doing exactly what I planned out to do since I was 15/16 years old, now that may change in my future, but I’m OK with that. Honestly though there were a lot of unexpected things that came up in those five years and I will say, I did not expect to be living in Rochester still. I fully expected to be in Wallkill or Patterson, NY! Looking back I wouldn’t have been as ready as I am now to be there though and it was a struggle not being there for me but I am so happy I’m not! Both My and I have the goal of moving to those areas though. For her, it wasn’t a matter of readiness, but like we said before we sometimes take a different route to where we want to end up. In the podcast My explains her struggles with making the right financial decisions with schooling, shopping, and just being overly generous. Now the pandemic was awful, but fortunately for her it was a opportunity to use that money coming in from the government to prepare herself for future moves.
Another thing about our twenties we’ve noticed is that who we are and our interests have changed. I personally love who I am right now, I am constantly working on myself and constantly trying to better myself, but who I am is exactly who I expected to be. And My and I talked about this too, one change for her was her style. And you may be wondering, where talking about who we are, what does that have to do with style? But if you know My, she loves to shop and look nice! So in her early twenties and before her twenties she wore a lot of flashy clothes and had all the new shoes and new watches. But as she grew she realized that stuff didn’t matter and now you can always catch her in a sweat suit (IDK if that a good or bad thing though LOL). As for me, I probably should try harder and I’m just thankful that I’m out of the cringey stage of my life that I don’t speak of… so lets move on! Other than appearances as we grow the way we view friendships change too. As usual we all go through a phase when we want to be friends with everybody, both My and I went through that! Fortunately for me my mom was kind of strict with me and didn’t allow me to do that and taught me at a young age to see people for what they are, and honestly all my life I’ve had a good amount of friends but like a core two or three I really rock with. My had to learn the harder way though, she is so loving and loyal and those are beautiful qualities that can sometimes be taken for granted.. The older we both get the more we realize how important it is to be close to the people we love and the more we value the good friendships we have.
Another very important thing to mention is how were living in the 20s as in the decade. It took for our two friends to move to Roc from a different state for us to appreciate the city we’re living in! And Rochester is honestly the most amazing and interesting places there is! It is a city to be explored. While my interests growing up have always been the same, dance, art, music, and just spending time with friends, actually both My and I didn’t take the time out to do those things. The good thing about being in your twenties is that you have more freedom and you develop an appreciation for seeing finer arts in a more intimate setting. Before that we’d go to the mall, go bowling, go out to eat at basic restaurants, go to the movies, hang out at our houses. And there’s nothing wrong with that! We still do those things and they’re some of my favorite things to do! But adding in going to the museum, seeing art galleries, watching plays, listening to the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, trying new exotic restaurants, and going to local coffee shops is so much more fun! Now while it’s only 2021 and COVID-19 just about stole a year of our lives, the best has yet to come! Use this time now to figure out who you want to be, to do the things you want to do. Use this time to have fun, to be with our family and friends. As always, stay safe, stay healthy, count your blessings, and live your life wisely and responsibly.
Thank you for the support, thank you for listening to our stories and experiences, we probably should’ve had someone in their 30s or 40s to write and record this but you’re stuck with us ;)
We love you always.
-Mia
Catch Flights
Hey guys welcome to another episode of Couch Cushions Podcast! Thank you guys for joining us again and listening in. Today I think we’re both excited about today’s episode, this is the first of a series we’re actually starting about traveling, hence the title Catch Flights. My and I love to travel in and out of the US and we have so many stories and experiences about our travels we knew we couldn’t fit it into just one episode, so here is Catch Flights pt. 1!
What we love most about traveling
My: THE FOOD just trying new things is the best part for me.
Mia: I think my favorite thing about traveling is meeting new people. I love and cherish the friends I’ve made while traveling!
Where we’ve traveled to
Mia: So when I was younger we’d travel to NYC and S. Carolina for family, and then places like Boston, Washington, and Pennsylvania. As for bigger and “real” trips for me I’ve been to Texas and Alaska, and outside of the US, I’ve been to Canada (if that counts), Belize, briefly to London, and South Africa.
My: just list stuff
What are the top three places you’d like to go
Mia: Bolivia, Japan, Paris (which I know sounds so cliché) but here me out. I love the language, I love the food, the art, and the culture. I definitely feel like even though I’ve never been that it definitely has influenced who I am and the things I love.
My: Korea, Thailand & South Africa
Our #1 favorite place we’ve gone
Mia: My favorite I think is Alaska. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere so beautiful and I don’t think I will ever get to go anywhere that beautiful again!
My: Rome is home! This is where I legitimately gained a family , friends and just a whole lifestyle. It really made me a different person and learn things about myself.
What is your favorite or least favorite travel story?
My: The poop story from Budapest to Germany
Mia: First time traveling alone, no phone, lost at airport, thrown on bus, no one came to pick me up, didn’t know when to exit the bus, couldn’t jump off to use the bathroom, could not sleep on bus, very lost, very scared.
I think traveling changes a lot depending on how you do it and who you go with.. Some people prefer to travel alone and “find themselves” or just because it can be easier for them. Others like a single and trustworthy travel partner, and some like to travel in groups. Myzsa, what is your preference?
Travel together or alone/ travel partners
My: with people that have money, traveling with people that don’t have money can slow you down and what's the fun in that? Let's be honest when you are traveling you are doing things that you normally wouldn't do so that cost abnormal money and you need to have them funds!
Mia: I think traveling alone is great because you can do what you want to do when you want to do it. I also like going to a new place and making whoever you meet your new friends and family. But I will say I prefer to be with someone. It can be scary being a young woman traveling alone! Not only that, but life is better with friends and people to share the experience with.
What are some good tips when it comes to traveling?
My: SAVE YOUR MONEY AND MORE! There are always going to be extra things that you don't think of that will happen and you don't want to have to call mom and pops for help. Pack light for sure, have all your papers and make like 10 copies just in case something happens. MAKE SURE AND I MAEN MAKE SURE that you bring all your toiletries!!!!! HAIR PRODUCTS, TOOTHPASTE those other countries not going to have your back and they don't have a Walmart either. Trust me i have never been so musty in my life like I was in Rome maybe that's why i came back SINGLE
Mia: Pack light! Pay for phone coverage or a sim card, have a plan A, B, C, D, E, F, G for everything. And I agree with Myzsa always have extra money.
When it comes to traveling/ vacationing we all do it differently. What we view as a vacation may greatly vary. For example, the length of your stay, where you go, and what you do.
What length of time do you prefer to stay for a vacation?
Mia: So I think a minimum of 2-3 weeks. I think depending on what your purpose for traveling is you should do more. I would love to live a life where I could stay somewhere for months at a time. But unfortunately I do not. So I think 2-3 weeks or even a month fills my needs.
My: I can't lie, I don't want to travel anywhere out of the country for less thans 1 month.. I need to make that long flight worth it. In the usa idc a week or two is cool.
What is a “vacation” to you/ how do you “vacation”?
My: I like to have a mix of things, I want to sleep in and chill but also explore. That's why I like to stay for a longer time. I don't want to have to feel rushed to see everything. When I go to Belgium it takes me a week to get adjusted and the family that I stay with hates it. But i mean i have to be up for work at like 6am so i wanna sleep and not move for like a good week then i'm good i'll get up and go sightseeing. Now one thing that I have learned is to never go to NYC with your family if you want a vacay. Y'all had me getting up earlier than I do for work.
Mia: I say a vacation for me is to try to do as much as possible. I like relaxing but I want to do and see as much as possible! I want to be out all day and do various activities and eat a lot of food.
First class, Yes or No?
My: Nope. Seat me in the bathroom if it free
Mia: Now you know this is a no.
How do we act on flights?
My: this is kinda mixed for me, i would say the in the beginning i would say i was super chill and but after the story about pooping on the plane i gain a fear of flying.
Mia: Scared at first and then I’m chill. The flight isn’t so bad, what’s worse for me is the airport.
Outro: You guys, all we have to say is, #Catch Flights Not Feelings. Even though we can’t travel right now, save your money and hopefully in 2022 you guys can meet us in some of our favorite places we’d like to visit. As always, we thank you for your support and hope y'all will continue to stay safe out there. Duces, Byeeeeeeeeee
Snow Tires
Hey guys welcome back to another episode of Couch Cushions Podcast! We’re your hosts Mia and My and were so happy you guys could tie in to this episode. As you can probably tell by the title, we will be discussing winter and all that comes with this season.
Around this time of the year there are many changes with the climate of course and a lot of preparation to get ready to brace the cold, but not only that, there are many physical and emotional changes we go through as well that should be taken seriously and discussed. There are also more fun things that come with winter time too! We will cover it all!
Winter (and the pains that come with it)
Now don’t get us wrong, we love all seasons of the year and we definitely view them all as being very beautiful. But especially where we live, winters are tough and the majority of us are counting down until we can become snowbirds.
Slow drivers vs fast drivers
My: Why do people always forget to drive when it's the first snowfall? It’s like come on folks we do this every year. But you know what words are the people that have the big trucks that think that they can do 80 mph on the highway.
Mia: I’d rather go slow than fast. I don’t go overly slow but I rather be cautious than speed and drive like crazy. But I feel like for the first snowfall people do one or the other, no one drives normally.
Brushing off car & Shoveling
My: So every year I give myself a goal! Get a 4X4 truck with a plow or get married. I know it sounds super extreme but it's so true. I hate shoveling and I rather deal with the pains of a husband then to go out in the cold.
The BIG question, are car starters a necessity?
My: Yes, yes, triple yes! The worst thing in the world is going outside to a cold behind a car. Then the car doesn’t even get warm until you made it to your destination.
Mia: I struggle with a way to answer this, because technically our necessities are food, clothing, and housing. So by definition no. I know that others in Rochester feel that it is and I get that. Would I like one, yes! Do I think it's a necessity, no. You can go out and start your car early, its a convenience.
Another struggle that comes with the season is the lack of moisture and the dryness of your hands, face, and legs (aka ashiness)
Hand Cream (Ashiness)
Vaseline vs cocoa butter vs lotion
My: Ugh this is hard if its my lip Vaseline hands down. I use all three for my body. My favorite is Vaseline. But you know what's my favorite lotion is the 87 cent cocoa butter random lotion at Walmart. I need to find the name. I couldn’t find it but it was simply amazing. Ima go to walmart right now lol.
Mia: I have to go with cocoa butter, but I have this thing where I will mix my cocoa butter and lotion.
I have to admit, in winter time I basically give up on moisturizing. I will use some for my hands, and I will moisturize my face and use chapstick, but other than that, I don’t even care at that point because I’m in pants and sweaters all the time.
But on a serious note we know that winter affects our physical appearance but let's talk about how it affects us emotionally
Vitamin D (Please discuss this with your doctor first, we are not recommending any medications, this is just what helps us)
Cloudy and cold days
How does winter affect you?
Mia: I obviously do not enjoy the cold.. at all. But despite that I think winter is a lovely time of the year and very beautiful. And as much as I hate the cold, what is worse to me is the gloominess. Oddly enough I don’t get SAD, but I do notice my mood changes a lot more. Naturally I’m a happier person in warm weather.
My: Yeah Mia I think I feel the same. It’s like I definitely feel like my mood is affected by the gloom. It's like I don't want to get out of bed. What else kills me is that I got to work in the dark and I leave it in the dark and I just like man will I ever see daylight.
Any tips?
My: Mia I know you will be happy with this but I think having a lot of plants and the sun light lights, vitamin D, getting active also usually this would be the time where most sickness gets spread so wash your filthy hand and take vitamin C. I actually started to do this everyday. I take the airborne tabs that you add to the water and it has made me feel really good.
Mia: Vitamin D does help me a lot and buying plants. Little artistic projects like painting or writing letters. A slightly unhealthier activity is baking and cooking delicious foods. More recently I’ve been trying to get outdoors and snowboard or even go sledding and that helps the most. I think at the end of the day having something to do is what is important, some type of hobby whether it's indoors or outdoors.
Are you active in the winter or a stay indoors person?
Mia: I’m a little bit of both. I love my weekends in my house just being cozy but I’m slowly trying to be more active and become an outdoors person in the winter. I tried snowboarding for the first time last year and really enjoyed it and I’m hoping to be able to go this season again. I can definitely appreciate both. But all my life I was an indoors person because I do not like the snow. I remember as a child my brothers and I would play outside and build snowmen or try to make igloos and I after like 20 minutes I’d come indoors and drink hot cocoa with my mom and watch them through the window because I could never stand the cold.
My: I’m staying in the house! I don't like the cold. The only way that I will do anything outdoors is if you and the other force me lol, if it's up to me I just like being cozy on the couch and watching a movie.
Actually what's your favorite winter time movie?
Mia: Dead Poet Society, it’s one of my top 5 favorite movies and is especially good in fall/ winter
My: Snow Day
Cozy Indoors (Snow Days)
What does your perfect snow day look like ?
My: I'm the type of person that gets ready the night before for a big storm. So if I know we are about to go down I do my usual Wegmans run along with the rest of the city and pick up all my snacks. This includes hot cheetos fries and oreos, it's just a must! Then when I'm home I start the night before and I stay up as long as possible because I know I can sleep during the day. Then I get up and start snacking and then feel bad that I'm not doing anything and get up just to go sit on the couch. And I stay out there until Mema makes me do something. But again if it is a snow day I just try to make it to the Hudson's house to then watch movies AKA sleep the whole time.
Mia: Sleep in til 8:30/9:00, get breakfast at a diner, go sledding, come back home to eat, bake, and watch movies all night.
Cozy Winter Things
Hot cocoa
Mia: Unpopular opinion, hot chocolate should only be made with some type of milk, NOT WITH WATER. I’ve heard the excuse before while out that there’s no milk or no place to heat up the milk, but at that point I feel like you shouldn’t be drinking it at all then. It’s with milk or none at all.
Fuzzy socks
My: I can't start this convo off without stating how sad I am that Wegmans did not bring back their 99 cent socks!!!! It made me want to write a letter to Danny. I would like to say they are my favorite socks but they had some new company this year and I Haven't tried them but I think they lowkey might be better but i can't break my loyalty.
Winter fit/ aesthetics
Do you wear stockings or leggings during winter?
My: none because we not out in the cold sooooo…… next question lol leggings if it dumb cold but I don’t like being in the cold.
Mia: For years I didn’t but now I double up! I have thick velvet ones I wear at home and sometimes even under my scrubs at work.
Would you rather be cold and cute or warm and unattractive?
My: It really depends on who is in attendance lol I know it sounds super shallow. But I'm not about to be cute and cold for just anyone. You're going to have to be worth me suffering.
Mia: Warm and unattractive. I have no time to play around with the cold.

Cha Cha Real Smooth
I think we can all agree that life is better when you’re dancing. Whether it’s the cha cha slide, the bachata, or the cotton eye joe it’s important to have your body on the dance floor! Unfortunately right now we are not able to have dance parties or any parties actually, we have to be safe and take the proper precautions to not spread this virus and put anyone at risk. In this episode we reminisced on some parties we’ve been to, throwing dance parties, dance etiquette, and some of our favorite (and not so favorite) things about dance parties. Please go to the podcast section of our page to listen there, or you can find the podcast on both Apple Podcast and Spotify. If you are unable to listen in, watch it on our YouTube channel! And if you enjoy reading and want to get some bonus and inside information this blog was made for you!
Throwing Two Iconic Dance Parties
First the “Rep Your Generation” party and then the “All White Party”.
How do we come up with ideas?
My- Besides the idea for a decades party it is one of the hardest things to think of!
Mia- I feel like when you know you just know and have to go through with it.
What are the themes based on?
My- Themes that do not stumble others, that are fun, match the season the party is thrown in, and are not expensive to fulfill.
Mia- ^agreed. And the all white party just came to me because it was a movie quote.
Rep Your Generation
My- Best party to date in Rochester! The music was great, the people were great, and the food was bomb! Shoutout to all the people that helped out. Best moment was when I was dancing with this guy and popped a spin and THREW HIS WIG ACROSS THE PARTY. That pretty much sums up the party for me.
Mia- I think too it was hands down the best (I’m definitely biased though). There was a wide variety of people there, people from Rochester and those coming from out of town, state, and country. This party you could come dressed as the generation you were from or the one you related to most. Most people did the 90’s theme and it was super lit. From the time you walked in to the time you left you were dancing and having a good time. There was a photographer/ videographer there, good food and refreshments, and a solid DJ. It had everything a party needed.
All White Party
My- Fun but not as lit as the first one, not many people dance even though the music was more “diversey”.
Mia- It was a lot of fun! The first will forever be the greatest, but this one I feel like the outfits were better and the vibes were nice. The photographer shot it all in black and white so the pictures came out really cool.
Party planning prep vs attending a party prep
Do you buy a new outfit or wear clothes you already have?
My- New everything. My shopping habits are not as bad as before, but if you know me I’m getting a new jacket, pants, shirt, sneakers, even new hair!!
Mia- And if you know me, if possible I’ll wear something old. If it's a themed party I’ll buy something new, but at the most I’ll do a new top.
There was one party we both had to shop for, a formal/ Hollywood kind of themed party, we both went out and bought dresses and shoes and things like that. Speaking of shopping, when I buy an outfit I have to be 100%, not 80, not 96, but 100! So clothes shopping with me according to Myzsa is painful. But this party also reminds me of one of my favorite Myzsa dancing experiences when this kid tried to battle her and she milly rocked on him so hard you would’ve thought that they knew each other and he had personally offended her. It was amazing.
More favorite party moments
Canada- This was not a party but a dance experience, there was a jazz night at the aquarium and we turned that place out. It all started with the idea to do the electric slide this song and a couple of weeks before at the jazz festival where we live they performed the same song and did the line dance so we paid it forward. At first no one joined and we assumed it was because maybe the electric slide was American, but soon after it died down someone asked us to reach them and their family. After that the whole aquarium was with us as we waved our hands and screamed “And right, two, three, and step! And left, two, three, and step!” and from there everyone was super comfortable and the dancing went on for the rest of the night.
Poughkeepsie
Maria- We drove up 4 hours for this dance party. I thought it was a regular party but it was very Spanish and they played 2 “urban” songs. I got to dance with a friend we knew there and it was goofy and fun and made me realize, you don't have to be a good dancer but you do have to enjoy dancing. That party also had some of the best dancers too. This is when I learned cumbia. This party also reminds me of a party we attended in Texas. Unlike Poughkeepsie, it was a house party, very simple but it had a similar feel, There was good music, food, and people.
Myzsa- Agreed. When The “urban” songs were played I danced my heart out. It made me think of the parties I’ve thrown and there are like two cliche and overplayed songs from other cultures and just like how I was, that’s the only real time to show out, so for the next party we will diversify the playlist! Also at that party there was a little girl who wanted to dance like me and it was adorable.
What’s more important, the ceremony or the reception?
Myzsa- Reception hands down! I’m going there to dance. Also you get to see the couple more relaxed and have fun.
Maria- My vote is reception. But I will say the ceremony is a sweet and tender time and if I know and love the couple it makes it that much better. But I usually look forward to the reception more.
Whether you are throwing or attending a party there certain spoken and unspoken rules and etiquette to follow
Invites/ RSVP’s
My- For invites I’ve learned to do a simple text and not overthink it. I ABSOLUTELY HATE WHEN PEOPLE DO RSVP EVEN THO I DONT DO IT! 58 people rsvp to the Rep Your Generation party and like 250 people showed up.
Maria- I don’t have such strong feelings about that, but we can get a little picky about who we invite, it’s nothing exclusive but we don’t like any craziness happening so we are very cautious.
Dance partners
My- Just vibe with me, lets have fun. If I'm dancing with my girls then ok let rock! There was one party where a guy was giving me pointers while dancing and coaching me to the point that later I’d just look at my phone so he wouldn't ask to dance. But I also danced with some of the greatest dancers while there and they made me feel like I was floating.
Mia- Any partner is better than no partner (upside down smiling face). That sounds desperate but it’s slim pickings sometimes.
How do you feel about dancing with your girls?
M- I feel like it's cool at times but come on guys ASK US TO DANCE. Asking me to dance isn’t giving me a pen to sign a marriage license.
Mia- Yes, it’s a necessary evil lol
My: AND I HAVE STRONG FEELINGS ABOUT THIS. I just want to dance and have a good time. Lets just have some fun and keep it moving. It all chills over here. Now I mean if there is a vibe then go ahead and slide them digits lol;)
When do you thinks its right to take off your shoes?
My- As soon as lip gloss plays, you can not properly dance to that song in heels. I say try to keep them on for all the Spanish songs so you look extra fancy when a dude decides to one ask you to dance and spin you.
Mia- Only when you’re on the verge of not being able to dance anymore. I try to dance in them as long as possible and then when they’re off they’re just off unless I gain the strength to put them back on. (Agreed, they are a must for certain songs) and if you’re brave you’ll try to do a line dance in heels.
What is your dance party pet peeve?
Mia- Foolishness. Don't act up.
My- NOT DANCING AT A DANCE PARTY! ALSO SHOWING UP UNINVITED.
Dance Songs
What song makes you run to the dance floor?
My- Swag surfin’, This is how we do it, jump around, and any throw back I'm running to the dance floor.
Maria- usually any Maria song or lip gloss. Or any throwbacks, 80’s or early 2000’s.
Do you prefer songs you can vibe and sing to, jump around to, or dance to?
My- It depends on my mood.. I’d say dancing but most likely if I’m dancing I’m singing.
Maria- Dance to is my top vote or sing/ vibe. Absolutely not jump around to.
One song we hate that is played at parties?
