Two Young Women.
Myzsa and Maria are both from the same city in New York State, they’ve been friends for years and talk just about everyday. On one random Thursday afternoon Maria calls Myzsa and plainly asked “Hey, do you want to start a podcast?” Myzsa happily agreed and the rest was history.
The Show.
In each season of couch cushions podcast we produce we will 10 episodes and they will be uploaded every other week. The purpose of this show is to just kick back with us! We are personally inviting you to join in on the same feel good conversations that we usually just have with each other.

While you listen in you’ll notice the varying opinions and the different perspectives we have. But that’s the true beauty of friendship and this podcast!

Hi guys, I’m Maria, I also go by the nickname Mia so please feel free to call me whichever. I tried writing a normal bio but after reading it it sounded too much like a resume so I am going to write five truths and two lies about myself and while listening to our podcast you’ll figure out which is what.
1)I am originally from NYC and am currently living in western New York.
2) I am very passionate about writing haikus.
3) I love to dance and when I was in school I took dance classes.
4) I love to cook and bake, foods and desserts from different cultures simply fascinates me!
5) Oddly enough, I only listen to one genre of music.
6) I’ve traveled outside of the country multiple times.
7) I hate plants.
As you listen in you’ll get to know a lot more about me than seven facts. I really hope that you’ll interact with us through social media so I can more about y’all. What’s up guys?! I’m your girl MY-MY (short for Myzsa) and yup, I’m already calling myself your girl because after you listen there’s no doubt we’ll be friends! Since you’re here I’ll tell you a little about me. I’m a fun loving girl in my 20’s living in the Flour City. Yep! You read that right, the Flour City, because I’m all about my dough! Get it... dough? Anyways, where did I leave off? Oh yeah I’m fun, cool, and I love to make people laugh. A couple more things you’re going to learn about me during this podcast is how I always keep it real (I crack a joke or two) and I love to love.
